There will be a mandatory meeting for coaches and team representatives planning to participate in the upcoming in the East Hawaiʻi Novice Girls Division of the Jr. WNBA basketball league. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Lūʻau Hale in Hilo.   

In addition, registration for the division open until Oct. 29, and interested players are encouraged to sign up. The Novice Girls Division season is Dec. 1-Feb. 26. The division has two age groups: Novice Girls Elementary (3rd-5th grade) and Novice Girls Intermediate (6th-8th Grade).
